Bryan Murch, a horror enthusiast, is taking his admiration to the next level by reusing common trash items and constructing them into works of art.
He started making art from a young age, and after obtaining a Computer Graphics and Graphic Design degrees, was initially inspired by the photography of deceased albatross birds with ingested plastics. Today he makes one piece every two to three months while also juggling two jobs.
Bryan collects trash from thrift stores, streets, and donations. “Usually I’m watching horror movies and certain characters and colors trigger me to say ‘I can make that & I have enough material or those colors and shapes to make it,'” he says about getting his creative juices flowing. He also looks toward Jason Mecier as an inspiration.
